I recently wrote a lengthy “impressions-style” blog post about how I perceive the newer installations in the Paper Mario franchise and how disappointed I am in the direction they are taking.

Nukes? since when? Ugh… A worse-than-DRM-lock business approach where modding won’t be possible. Servers for years? Yeah? And then what? Fallout taking a step into planned obsolescence? People still play Fallout 3, the idea of good mechanics, a pleasant storyline, tons of choices, freedom, aesthetics.. moddability… It’s a game for the ages.
